Fashion Friday: Spring Transition

Here in the Northeast we are having wild swings in weather- from 65 and sunny to wet and cold. This time of year is the toughest here in my opinion, especially when it comes to dressing. We all want to pull out the spring clothes, but will likely be freezing if we do. So here is a great transition outfit I found on Saks (who is having Friends & Family right now BTW) that has pieces that will not only help you layer for early spring, but also can carry you through summer.

This cardigan would look so cute thrown over your shoulder with an on trend denim dress. And speaking of denim, denim shoes and bags are HUGE for this year. I love this little quilted one I got and know i’ll pair it with sundresses all summer.

And of course staple white jeans- this pair is flattering and the perfect slim wide leg, because at 44 I am not partaking in the giant baggy jean trends happening now.

And give me some block heels baby! So much more comfortable and easy to walk in than stilettos. Love the bamboo buckle on this pair!
