Our Holiday Shop Is Live!

*** UPDATE: Wow guys, what a reaction to the shop! We are thrilled so many of you snapped up goodies, and we will be restocking what we can – more art, jewelry and hopefully trays, too. Since these items are handmade, it takes a lot of time to produce, so we’re seeing what is feasible before the holidays and will keep you updated!

Last year I had this idea to do an in-person Holiday Gift Guide shopping experience – kinda like Oprah’s Favorite Things but in person where you can shop, sip some wine and mingle as you find out what our favorite gifts are for the year in real time. Well, those plans went POOF due to COVID, me having a baby, etc. etc. Someday I still think it would be super fun to do, but instead this year we decided to do a small curated gift shop featuring goods from great small businesses. Some items are even custom made designs just for us! I wanted to mention a few things about each item here to give you some background as to why we chose each maker and piece.

Elements Mugs by Justin Reis Ceramics

We loooooove these mugs handmade in Connecticut by Justin Reis (turns out, he lives right near my parents!). We sketched out a shape we wanted (they are the perfect size with the perfect size handle, if I do say so myself) and we wanted these to have a throwback splatterware effect to them. Microwavable and dishwasher safe, they are a perfect gift (maybe a pair with some really lovely coffee or hot chocolate?) Justin also created an awesome vase for us that launches next week, so check back!

Delft Candle by Jill Rosenwald x Noted

I cannot get enough of these candles. We used the Delft pattern we created with Jill years ago for this candle vessel (hand-painted in Boston) and then filled them with a fragrant soy wax blend from local candle company Noted. We have a clean Lavender White Tea scent and a Frasier Fir holiday scent. When the candle burns down, you can ship it back to Noted to be refilled for $15 or clean it out and use as a jewelry dish! So two gifts in one!!! These are gonna go FAST.

Shagreen Trays by Elena Boiardi

I have been obsessed with Elena’s pieces for a couple years – I love me some shagreen! She hand paints these in my soon-to-be new hometown of Wellesley! We picked three different shapes and colors that are great for trinkets, jewelry, change -what have you! Such a wonderful gift for anyone.

Coin Necklaces by Jane Win Jewelry

Every time I wear one of Jane’s coin necklaces in an IG pic or video I get about a bazillion questions about where it’s from, so I picked my three favorites with a cool new chain design of hers to offer you! The packaging is to die for, and they each have a special meaning.

Bauble Stockings

I learned about these adorable tiny needlepoint stockings through artist Holly Hollon, who designed my holiday collection for Dogwood Hill last year, (previously Dixie Designs). Bauble used one of those designs (the wreath) on a stocking!  I read about the tradition that these little mini-stockings are for (adorable) and that they are made by a community of single mothers in Haiti through Goodthreads, an organization that provides stability and solid income for these women. In addition, 5% of all purchases are donated to Atlanta Children’s Shelter, a day shelter where homeless children can go for safe care allowing their parents to work. It’s win/win. I bought Emma and Henry each their own and am so delighted to have this be a new tradition for us!

OMA THE LABEL BRACELETS

These affordable, classic bracelets are the perfect choice for anyone and are created by designer Neumi Anekhe, who wanted to craft a brand that represented people of color in a rather homogenous marketplace.

Applique Linen Guest Towels by Blue Bamboo Embroidery

The kind of item one may not purchase for themselves, but is such a nice little luxury to receive! I love this border and the applique monogram, such a classic look. I stumbled across Blue Bamboo Embroidery on Etsy and just fell in love with all their designs!

Original Art by Lauren Adams

I’ve used pieces by Lauren in my projects before and I love how these little abstract pieces look in pairs. A wonderful little pop of color that is original but doesn’t break the bank. Pop in a simple frame and it’s an impressive gift.

Shifting Greens by Laura McCarty

These abstracted landscapes are the kind of pieces that work in any home, and these are such a great combination of colors.  I’d float mount these to show off the deckled edge paper!

Burlap Stockings by Elements by Erin Gates

We brought back these best sellers for another season. In classic navy and ivory velvet on burlap, they add a classic, designer look to your holiday decor!

Signed Copies of My Books!

The gift that keeps on giving! :)  Signed copies of my books available through the shop just for the holidays!

Quantities are limited on many of these items, so shop soon! I hope you like everything and it helps you start ticking things off your lists!
