When I found out that Boston was finally getting a Serena & Lily store I was delighted. I was even MORE excited to find out it was going to be in my own neighborhood! We almost ALWAYS use a mix of retail and custom/trade items in our work and S&L has long been a source we use again and again. No doubt you are all VERY aware of their site/catalog and have loved their laid back style and family-friendly selection of furniture and accessories. I was invited to get a little preview of the store before it opened last weekend and wanted to share some shots of the amazing, bright space!
The visual merchandising team did such a great job with this store. It’s so different than most of what is in Boston- far more California/ coastal than the traditional New England colonial look. This back room was one of my favorite spaces- great layering and totally inviting.
The best part of having a store is being able to go and see all the fabrics and samples of the furniture in person.
This patio-inspired space is so charming.
A nice selection of their bath wares:
And of course, their kids stuff is to die for!
Of course, a heavy dose of blue and white!
In the front of the store is a cute dining area with a fun selection of trays, ceramics and accents.
How darling are these?
Our favorite bistro chairs that are so great for families with messy kids!
Cute, New England themed art throughout.
A cute little banquette corner stocked with pillows and books.
You can see all their wallpapers in person, and also installed in different vignettes throughout the store.
This gallery wall installation is SO charming.
Stop by the new store and check it out! Located in the Chestnut Hill Square shopping center near Wegman’s/ Soulcycle.
Shop my current Serena & Lily favorites by clicking each image! Right now they are having a 20% off sale on custom upholstery!
Check back the first week of October to see the reveal of my guest room/ Henry’s nursery with Serena and Lily! It came out SO good!

fantastic…now if we could just get a Terrain in the area all would be right in the world
Okay, I’d move into that store if they threw in a functional bathroom and delivered food to me. Can I bring all my books? I love blue and white and this is just too good.
Maybe I’ll just change my name to Serena or Lily?
