Summer Blues.
Sorry I went MIA yesterday– this week (and last) have been a beast. Working motherhood sometimes kicks me in the ass and I just literally could not yesterday. Anyways, here I am with a little happy shot of color before everyone jaunts off for the holiday weekend.
Caitlin Wilson is a pro at happy, bright, bold color and her new summer collection of accents and bistro chairs and stools do not stray from that. And a hefty portion of those goods in BLUE, which we all know I am obsessed with on all fronts right now. So I just wanted to quickly share them with you!

I can only speak for myself , and as much as I love reading your blog – I think you should go to a “summer schedule” and just blog once per week for July and August. This will give you time to rest and rejuvenate. I think your loyal readers will understand. We all need a break now and then. Enjoy your time off.

Caitlin Wilson is one of my all time favorite designers, love her happy textiles, and the new bistro chairs are right up my alley. Summer breaks are good, I am feeling the same way. Have not blogged since last Monday. Enjoy your time with precious Henry and hubby!!
Working motherhood can be so, so overwhelming. You always seem to approach it with such grace! Hang in there. Toddlers are precious and adorable, but they are a special challenge. It gets easier. Here’s to a smooth summer for you and your family!

Since I’m currently on vacation (from being retired … no, that would be going back to work) in Ashland Oregon for the Shakespeare Festival, I can hardly complain about anyone else needing a break. Well I can, but nobody would believe me.
