Fashion Friday: British Style with Joules

Joules is a British brand that has been making its way into my closet (and Henry’s) over the past year. I first heard about them when I saw Erika Powell wearing one of their adorable Cowdray button collar sweatshirts on her blog a long time ago. Then my mom became a huge fan of those same sweatshirts (currently limited in inventory online- but they always seem to bring back new colors and styles of it) and then I got one. And now I’ve expanded past just that beloved item into other pieces from them. As for Henry, well there is just so much cuteness in the baby section (and all of it really well made) that it’s hard to not order everything. And today I have a great excuse to do just that as Joules is offering my readers 20% off all full-priced items with the code ELEMENTS(ends Oct 31st@)!!!  Here are some of my favorite items:

I have this poncho and love it- perfect for fall, super warm and not itchy- I actually wore it just like this with a striped tee underneath. This plaid tweed coat is another awesome fall piece that is great for layering- ladylike but with menswear influence.

You know I am a connoisseur of striped tee shirts and I love how thick and well made these are (no sheer, fall-apart-after-one-wash issues here!) I also dog the relaxed silhouette of this turtleneck sweater.

Their faux fur game is strong with these jackets.  I LOVE this first one– a mix of the trendy anorak style coat but with a chic faux fur collar (which is detachable! Two in one!)  This tweed blazer (also with a removable faux-fur collar) would look so awesome with some distressed denim and leather booties!

I love a good, preppy quilted jacket like this one (the stand up neck is nice) and this scarf is absolutely gorgeous.

This striped tee with floral print is so happy and sweet.  I don’t think I’ll tire of stripes and florals together ever. And I love the idea of wearing this dress with tights, a grey scarf and knee high suede boots for the office.

Joules is well known for their incredible welly selection– I have these crocodile ones and they are not only super chic but way comfier than the Hunters I used to have.  My mom has these dog print ones which so awesome with the yellow stripe up the back (perfect extra detail).

The bow detail on the back of this version is adorbs and these mid-height striped ones have a very EOS vibe to them, no? :)

I HAD to get Henry this mini quilted barn jacket. Obviously. Someday in the not too distant future he won’t let me dress him like a tiny British gentleman anymore and I will be so sad. So I’ll do it while I can! He also has this insanely soft striped sweatshirt (thick enough to act as a jacket, really) and I love that its reversible!

We ignore the whole “tights are not pants” rule for babies- these leggings (boys and girls) are awesome for squirmy crawlers.  I pair them with cute knit hoodies and boots and Henry is free to move about in total comfort.

This mixed print dress is adorable as is this quilted puffy jacket with floral lining.
