I was perusing Tuckernuck the other day and saw that they are carrying a collaboration between Barbour and Wedgewood– which at first I was like “that’s a bit of a ‘strange bedfellows’ situation”, but it got me thinking about how patterns and trends really do carry over between all creative. visual planes and categories. And why not combine two preppy staples- blue and white Wedgewood patterns and Barbour jackets? Kind of genius.
I typically do a big “this or that” post, but I’m short on time this week so I thought I’d keep this one simple….
The Barbour x Wedgewood jacket:
Or a new Wedgewood china pattern?
Or perhaps some vintage Wedgwood patterns??
Or perhaps just a throw pillow in a pattern reminiscent of the brand?
Or cover a whole room in a blue and white floral wallpaper like Caitlin Wilson did (this is one of may all time faves from Schumacher!)
You know what this blue & white lover will say?
I’ll take it ALL, thanks.
I don’t have the wedgewood Barbour, but mine has William Morris’s Navy Strawberry Thief inside and I love it. It makes me happy every time I put it on! I’ll also take all your blue and white picks, thank you very much! :)
In love with blue and white! Best meaning ever, sky and purity!
I noticed this SAME trend!!! franki
I thought blue and white together is already perfection, but chintz makes it even better! That Schumacher Pine Hollyhock print is one of my favorites too. I know it’s meant for home decor but I could easily wear it :)
I am obsessed with the blue and white theme just lately and on a big vintage hunt here in the UK when and where possible. Particularly with a coastal vibe thrown in for good measure. So I’ll take the lot too!
Isn’t this cool?! I just saw it yesterday too and googled to find out more about the collaboration and discovered tuckernuck is the only retailer in the US that Barbour is allowing to carry the line:
Love the “new” wedgwood pattern!
Erin, what is the info on the horse photo above your sofa?
