NYC Tour Stop!
I had such a fantastic night last night at the gorgeous Canvas Home celebrating the book with my NYC peeps! And another stop means another outfit…
Skirt- Alice & Olivia // sweater- Madewell // Shoes- Valentino (old, similar here for way less) // Bag- Gigi New York // Necklace- J.Crew (old- similar here) // Sunglasses- TJ Maxx
Andrew was busy entertaining the line of readers with, most likely, embarrassing stories about me. He’s like my warm up act on tour. :) I’m so jealous of his streamlined “man uniform” of jeans (Bonobos– great for tall guys), shirt (also Bonobos) and blazer (Banana). Men have it so much easier!
The line was to the door! And I was so happy to meet longtime readers, new readers, e-design clients and old friends there!
Some of my family in NYC came out to support (and check out the amazing wall of dinnerware behind us….the gold rim situation is to die for).
Wine and books make for a lovely evening…. I signed 12 copies that they are keeping for sale in the store in case you couldn’t make it!
We stayed at the small and charming Jade Hotel right nearby- so adorable!

And now we’re off to D.C. for a signing tonight at Jonathan Adler in Georgetown from 6-8 p.m.! Hope to see you there!

Tour looks so fun- still high from last week’s signing and your foreword was basically my inner dialogue when I had to be ripped out of Boston. I too was hysterical and full-on freaked. But it had to be done. It was funny reading it in print, did a double-take like umm, this is exactly what I was thinking!!!!
So fun to make all these book signing stops with you, and omgosh can you and Andrew get any cuter? I think not. Gorgeous young couple, enjoy these special, special moments toghether, you have worked so hard, this is all very well deserved!! You book is sitting proudly and beautifully on my family room ottoman. Did you pick your tour hotels by bathroom color schemes? Black and white … only lacking a marble floor . Looking forward to future stops (and outfits!). It’s like Fashion Friday all week long!
