These Chanel inspired flats in nude and black from Gap came home with me today for under $50. I’ve seen similar styles for spring from Prada so I think these are a great buy! With denim=dreamy!

Friday, June 25th, 2010It’s baaaaaaaaaack. “What I’m Wearing” will be popping up now and again on Fridays when I feel I have a reasonably cute or interesting ensemble to show you guys. This week I had two items I was loving that I happened to be wearing together yesterday. This insanely comfy (and affordable at $95) caramel Eugenia dress from Calypso I bought last weekend paired with a necklace I found at Lord & Taylor months ago, leather and wood wedges from Franco Sarto (via TJ Maxx), a bangle from H&M and this ridiculously awesome pony hair clutch by Plank.
And guess what- the kind and talented founder of Plank, Doreen, gave me one to give away after I gushed to her about how much I loved them!!!! Yup, the blue and green version of this $200 clutch could be yours if you just leave a comment below! (P.S. if you need a new gym or yoga tote check out these- they are equally as killer as the clutch, I swear.)
This bad boy has credit card holders and a couple pockets inside so you can use it as a wallet and throw it into other larger purses for daytime and then pull it out and take it with you out in the evening. I simply adore how phenomenally it’s made (at the same factory as Tumi) and how much it makes me smile when I grab it. So excited I can gift one of them to one of you!

What I’m Wearing: Friday Night Dinner
Friday, May 21st, 2010This is a bit late, but totally on trend with what I posted earlier today. About to head out for a casual Meditteranean tapas dinner with friends on this lovely night and figured I’d post a pic before I went (in case y’all are still interested in this series. My brother said he didn’t dig it so let me know…)
Strapless dress- $90-2009- Macy’s (not sure I like it anymore…)
Denim coat- $???- 2001- Earl Jeans- I remember buying this years ago thinking it was a staple, then almost tossing it because I thought it was too dark, and now am so happy I didn’t!
Sandals- $69- 2010-Steve Madden. I bought these the other day because the wedges I was wearing were giving me a blister and I had to walk home and I could not bear to walk one more foot in them.
Bracelet- $5- Forever 21- love me some cheap jewelry!
Necklace-$1-2008- found at a flea market!
