*Still loving Nina Campbell’s Perroquet wallpaper as seen in her daughter Rita Konig’s apartment and on the cover of Style at Home in Canada. It’s something I never would pick out independent of seeing these images, but am still flabbergasted at how modern and chic it looks installed!
* This kitchen from Style at Home makes me feel all flustered. Perfection.
* Pure Style’s entryway is insanely awesome. I can never get enough of gallery style wall hangings, and this one is hella unique. Plus the orange door? Merci.
* This moody blue room calls to me.
* As does this bright blue entryway door from an old Domino. Go figure. I am a study in contrasts.
* This skirted entryway table needs to happen in my life.
*Today I wish I was waking up here with only a day at the beach ahead of me with a good book.
* J.Crew continues to SLAY me with their design. This necklace will be mine, no doubt.
* This picture from Vogue makes me convinced I should keep my denim short (even though I’ll never be able to rock it with a long tulle skirt and boots like Carmen here. But a girl can dream.)

Here’s a little before and after of a remote e-design project I worked on this year for Sarah, who now pens her very own blog! I am thrilled with the results!

After much deliberation, we decided to use this spectacular F. Schumacher wallpaper in charcoal grey which truly takes your breathe away. Paired with an IKEA tulip-style table, glossy black bentwood chairs and a more traditional, formal take on a drum pendant the dining nook really came together! If one wanted to add a punch of color to a space like this you could do chair cushions in a solid color (yellow would be pretty sweet) and a little low floral arrangement. Ta da!
Now, this wallpaper is not cheap- but since it was a small space it was worth the splurge as you get a lot of impact with as few rolls as possible. Powder rooms, the interior of closets and the backs of bookshelves are other spaces where you might consider using an expensive wallpaper you are in love with without having to buy gobs of it. But there are some inexpensive graphic papers that may give you the same punch as this one for a bit less- here are some picks from the Design your Wall site’s Modern section:
