So pop by next Thursday for some sips, snacks and early holiday shopping (or to add things to YOUR holiday list!) My whole collection will be here to try on and shop if you’ve been curious and not able to make it into the South End. (Also you can see our new studio space and shop other awesome stuff….keep reading!) RSVP HERE.

One of my most favorite pieces is this small ball locket…. done spotted with diamonds (above on the invite) or with a diamond bail.  worn on a short or long chain it’s simply awesome.

Fashion Friday: My New Design for M.Flynn

I am so happy to announce the release of my newest design for my jewelry collection with M.Flynn- the Lucky Ladybugs! I have always been charmed by the tradition of making a wish when a ladybug lands on you (the only bug that doesn’t send me into psychotic jerky spasms if it lands on me). They are such beautiful tiny creatures and I wanted to use the concept of the lucky ladybug and create tiny stud earrings in their honor.  So here are the fabulous everyday studs and also a dainty pendant necklace made in 14k gold with tiny full cut diamonds (most jewelry with small diamonds like this doesn’t use full cut diamonds) for the dots and even the eyes! Subtle but sparkly.

Paper Fancy.

I have LONG held a true love for beautiful, intricate and detailed paper goods. In another life I would have gone into a career in it (and wedding planning). Every opportunity I can find to use some kind of amazing cards, invitations or stationery I do. And I still obsess over other people’s wedding invitations- it’s such a spectacular way to set the tone for your event. And my GOD, the options available now!  Oh to be a bride in the time of Pinterest (when I was planning my wedding I only had magazine clippings and had to walk to the meetings two miles through the snow barefoot….)  No, I’m not THAT old, but I didn’t have Pinterest or wedding blogs to alert me to all the incredible vendors out there!

So here are two paper goods designers that I found that I’m quite keen on and thought you may be as well!

The first is Sideshow Press out of South Carolina.  Some of these wedding suites seriously made me weak in the knees. The liners, the detail, the unique quality to each….just spectacular.  Oh, and they do letterpress, which if you can swing it, is totally the way to go.  Such a rich tactile and textural option.

I mean, incredible.

An Amazing Bedroom Makeover

I was checking out the designs for the One Room Challenge and was totally blown away by the master bedroom done by Design Daredevil’s Jessie Miller.   Such a glamorous, awesome, amazing room! See the before pictures and more detail shots on her blog.  The only thing missing? A copy of my book on those bookshelves (would look AMAZE.) Take a peek, and see how to get the look at the end!
