I was poking around RH Baby & Child the other day looking for a giant stuffed giraffe (thanks Instagram followers for the recommendation) and saw a little banner introducing RH Teen. I had not heard anything about this new line and assumed it would be something good to bookmark for kids rooms for clients but MAN was I suprised! SO. MUCH. GOOD. STUFF. And not for teens, for us grown ups! Yes, the beds only go up to queen, but everything else could be used in a room for someone of any age- it’s a great reminder to not limit yourself source wise! Take a peek and my favorite finds:
Cool canopy bed and drop dead desk…
AHHH, this dresser!!!!
Love the idea of two of these beds together in a guest room or kids room (comes in other finishes) and this black nightstand has such great details…
Live today is a sale I curated for Joss & Main featuring some of my favorite items from them as well as things reminiscent of objects and pieces I’ve used in my design work over the years! Comment with a link to a product you love –you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card to Joss & Main!
I’ve been shopping H&M a lot for maternity wear (best jeans EVAH) but had no idea they had such cute home accessories! This will certainly be a new go-to for me for photoshoots and budget friendly decor for projects!
As I’ve mentioned before, I love using antiques in almost every project I do because it adds so much life and patina to a space unlike anything else. And while flea markets and antique fairs are fun, they are a lot of work and time. We love to use 1st Dibs, Etsy and Ebay to source from our desks, but there are two other sites that sell not only vintage items but also gently used designer items that you can have for a fraction of the retail price.
The first is Viyet. I met one of the founders in Los Angeles while doing a panel discussion and she was so lovely. The premise to this site is for designers and owners of high-end furniture to be able to consign pieces they don’t want, need to sell, etc. Also showrooms sell some of their floor models on here, which is fabulous! You can shop by showroom here.
I’ve always loved Nordstrom for clothing, accessories, makeup and shoes but never really thought of them for home goods. Well, they are adding a lot of great stuff to their e-commerce site for the home and they asked me to share some of my favorite items (most for under $200!)
10. OK, this little plate made me laugh because it reminds me of this one time my parents got a grill with a rotisserie and after working so hard to get the chicken on the thing and then actually roasted, my mom could notfigure out how to get it OFF the rotisserie. Cut to me walking outside to find her whacking at the chicken with a butcher knife in frustration, with all the dogs standing around her delighted as pieces of chicken rained down on them. I think she needs this.
22. Another hilariously awesome gift- a wine holder for the bathtub or shower. I mean, if you drink wine in the shower you might have a problem, but in the tub is TOTALLY acceptable. And this keeps it from slipping off the edge of the tub and INTO your bath (which has totally never happened to me. Ever.)
