I love taking online quizzes, and this is one that will “help you find your style”. I have ADD style, so it’s always hard to pin me down, but I like that they deemed me “city sophisticate”. I know you want to slack off right now, and if your reading this blog, this is the perfect thing for you! It even suggests certain pieces for each room (granted, it’s a British site and everything is from jolly ol’ England…)

A reader was so kind as to alert me to this, I’m kind of embarassed I had not taken note of it! A upholstered headboard kit from Horchow! They send you everything you need but the fabric, which you choose yourself. It comes in three shapes and allows you to style it as you like (add nail heads or ribbon trim perhaps?) Yes, you could go to Home Depot and a sewing supply shop get some stuff to make one for cheaper, but for $150 for a queen, this saves you gas money and the hassle!
I saw this stainless steel settee in this month’s Boston Home Magazine and was interested in it’s designers. Turns out, the designer is Tall Tree Guild- a team collaboration between old friends from Mass Art. I am intrigued by the classic country lines rendered in such a urban material. The setee is simply stunning- and weighs 350 pounds!
