Also in the same studio are graphic designers Jessica Sutton (mom of Oscar above and blogger herself) and Jennifer Hill. Jessica designed websites for some of my favorite places like Looc, Urban Hound and was previously the in house designer for beauty brand Fresh Cosmetics! Jennifer has a FABULOUS Etsy store featuring her prints, especially enchanting is her “Places I’ve Never Been” series in which she designs a pattern based on research she does on, you guessed it, places she’s never been! I think the concept is stunningly creative and the product equally as beautiful! Also check out her letter prints, perfect for a baby gift!

(There is even a calendar featuring a series of the “places” prints!)

Of course when I sat down I immediately took note of all the trimmings and was pleasantly shocked to see my favorite Match pewter trimmed plates! I love this place setting and kind of wish it had been on my registry when I got married instead of delicate fine china. Not to mention, they were sitting atop beige Chilewich place mats and set with my FAVE wine glasses by Schott! A perfect table setting!!!

These patterns by J. Chew (yep, CHEW not CREW) are fabulously fanciful yet simple. I’d love to mix the two patterns to create a really lovely look.

When registering for my china I coveted the Etoile pattern by Bernadaud below left. I hemmed and hawed and finally thought it would be something I might tire of. I was WRONG! I still love it! Nerds! Also love the Constance pattern too- I do believe that was Charlotte York’s china!

For something a bit more fanciful, try the Mega pattern by Royal Copenhagen or Pompano Point by Kate Spade

Simple platinum rimmed china is something that will never go out of style: I chose Vera Wang for Wedgewood’s Grosgrain, but Barbara Barry’s Emrace is pretty great too!

We all seem to love Chinese Chippendale dining chairs- from Jonathan Adler (who started the hot trend with his bright lacquered versions to my side of the road finds. Now you can add some of that same design flair to your tabletop with Lunt Silversmith’s new flatware! Made of stainless steel but with the elegant look of formal silver it adds panache to your place settings without the hefty price tag and annoying polishing of actual silver.

How awesome are these china pieces by Hannah Morrow? Combining her love of fashion and jewelry with her obvious skill is crafting bone china, she creates such a cool product. I am just hoping she’ll make this in a mug- I’d love to drink my coffee from this chic pattern!

You all know my obsession with Bongenre’s melamine plates. Well now I have a new melamine plate designer to obsess over- Fontaine Maury! The preppy, retro inspired designs (complete with personalization) remind me a bit of iomoi, and would make a killer wedding gift or even a baby gift (get one plate with the baby’s name on it with a set of cool feeding utensils!)
