Paris on the Brain

Wednesday, January 11th, 2012

Remember that Grange Furniture contest I won? Well that prize was a trip to Paris and I leave next week for it! I can;t believe I’m headed back there and get to show my Dad around Paris for his first time ever! I’ve been so busy that I have not had much time to think about it, but beginning yesterday my brain started floating towards all things en francais. French style always inspires me, and the images from L’Hotel Particulier have haunted me for months (chock out the site).  Located in Provence, it’s style is so amazing and simple, traditional yet modern and totally ME!

But back to the City of Light- I really love the images I found by Etsy photographer Vita Nostra. Fantastic scenes from various parts of Paris.

As I panic about what to pack (it’s going to be cold!) I put together two outfits I wish i could bring with me!

For daytime walking (which I did about 8 hours of daily the last time I was in Paris…)

Cocktails in Color

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

I am super duper enamored with the amazing selection of fun chairs, bar carts and tables from Society Social. Bright colors, retro styling and lots of glitz make them tops on many wish lists!  It’s so hard to find an affordable, cool bar cart these days, so their choices are perfect for so many of my clients (and myself- we need one in the office). Take a peek at their goods and hop over to the site to see all the color combos and options available!

The bold colored bamboo chairs would look amazing around a tulip table in a small dining space (maybe with some custom made print cushions!)

There is good reason this chair is called the Duchess. I bow down.

This cute sofa is under $800!!! Perfect for someone on a budget with high style. (Side note: when is IKEA ever going to make that damn striped rug again??? I need it!!!!)

Two fabulous bold chairs!

Helllllloooo lovah!

I think this might be the perfect little bar cart. Great lines, cool customizable top color and space for everything.

Ok, I love them all.

this low slung cocktail table set would be so fun on a deck or patio!

Snakeskin covered side table used as a bar. Sleek and sexy!

Can I pour anyone something? :)

EOS Visits Furbish!

Wednesday, October 26th, 2011

While in North Carolina for High Point Market this week (more on that tomorrow), I got to stop in and visit the fun and fabulous Jamie Meares at her drop dead gorgeous store Furbish! I want to just move in there.

Pink makes Jamie happy, I think.

I LOVE sunburst mirrors on wallpapered walls!

I mean, do I even need to say anything? The hand painted wall? Come on!

This is one fun bed. I want to jump on it.

A lovely little vignette.

I bought that cute sequin lapel blazer and striped tunic hangin’ right there in the middle. SO rad.

This bench upholstered in an old rug was so genius.

Not afraid of color. Not. One. Bit.

Loving the pink sofa and the orange nad navy pillows paired with the cool vintage inspired patterned ottomans!

Such delightful displays.

Jamie’s office (sorry for the terrible pic)

Custom dog beds and the famous ROWDY! He is as cute in person as on Jamie’s blog. And is, indeed, rowdy.

Painterly chairs. Bad ass.

Those would be IKAT SHOWER CURTAINS people. Her checkout area is so much cooler than than pic shows. That furbish sign is cut out of wood and suspended on fishing line.

You know she has an online shop, right? Go there.
