Sponsor Welcome: Quality Bath

Thursday, February 16th, 2012

A great looking bathroom is SO important in a home, as it can serve as a spa-like sanctuary for those of us not lucky enough to frequent Bliss or the like on a weekly basis.  I love helping people pick out fixtures for their renovated bathrooms and so am really thrilled to have Quality Bath be a sponsor of EOS!  They have so fantastic products that would certainly increase the value (and pleasure of use) of anyone bathroom- big or small.  Here are some of my favorites!

Soak It Up

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

I always let out an audible sigh whenever I see a fabulous bathroom with an even more fabulous tub in it.  Is there anything more relaxing than a bubble bath in a deep tub with a glass of wine, some music and candles lit? I think not. Here’s a collection of amazing soaking spaces to take you away…

Inspired by Coco Before Chanel

Last night I finally watched Coco Before Chanel and was mad for the set design, the story, the fashion…EVERYTHING. One of the scenes I loved so much was when Coco arrived at the  manor and was totally transfixed by her room, in particular the elegant bathroom.  So I wanted to create a bathroom using that moment as inspiration!  Romantic  floral wallpaper, gilded fixtures, vintage style sink and tub and a kick of modern design with a lacquered mirror and glossy black wall trim.  And of course, an homage to her fabulous Bateau striped tee with a  shower curtain made of striped fabric! See this film if you have not!
