Fashion Friday: Summer Shoes- To Heel or Not to Heel?
I’ve been pulling my spring and summer shoes and clothes out of storage and BOY did I donate and sell a lot of stuff last year pre-pregnancy/move/pandemic! I realized I really need to stock up on some new summer shoes! Last night Andrew and I went out for dinner and I wore HEELS, like real HIIIIGH heels and it felt… great! Am I alone in having missed wearing heels? Are you excited to go “out” again and wear some or are you happy to continue living in flats and comfy clothes? Or maybe somewhere in the middle?

I have those Loeffler Randall slides in the mid-heel and love them so much. I tried the high version you showed, and I couldn’t walk in them… thanks covid.
The Steve Madden heels (1st pic) are great because the strap goes behind your ankle, rather than in front, which is helpful for elongating the leg. At 5’4 I need all the help with that I can get!
Have you tried Charleston Shoe Company? They’re the most comfortable wedges you will every try! Most styles are customizable and they’re cute!! I highly recommend!!!

TKEES are awesome! And I am loving all my espadrilles. I’ve been buying Soludos in every pattern that I can find.
One other suggestion, if they can be found this summer, is the Andre Assous wedge espadrille with clear straps. They are soo comfortable!
Those loeffler pleated sandals are simply amazing.
