The High Point Launch of Erin Gates by Momeni!

This weekend I went down to the famous High Point Market to officially launch my new rug collection by Momeni.  My staff and I have been working hard remotely to get the showroom ready, and the team on the ground from Momeni really stepped up to make it a great experience I felt great about.   It was super surreal to have my own showroom (and billboard…) and show off this grouping of rugs I’m really proud of. These will all be in various retails stores and available on line (vendor TBD) in March!

We also worked with some of my favorite vendors to decorate the showroom– they so graciously loaned stuff for us to use to make this space feel like a home.  The great framed art above is from Artfully Walls (this, this, this and this). I love how the gold frames and black and white drawings looked on the Benjamin Moore Wasabi walls and with the animal print faux-hides.  The wrapped desk is from Kravet (available here) as was the desk chair.

The bedroom area featured wallpaper by York Wallcovering/ Dwell Studio (so affordable!) and a bed by Duralee, side tables from Duralee and my lamps (in Homegoods/ TJ Maxx stores now) frames and pillows. The bedding is my fave set (duvet/sheets) by Crane & Canopy. And this rug is an indoor/outdoor!

This is one of my favorite rugs :) Shown here with a great new sofa from Duralee, pillows and lamps from my collection and a coffee table from Kravet’s Outlet sale.

Side tables also Kravet and the throw is actually brand new from my line. I love it so much- so soft!

I loved this little vignette– the kids rugs came out SOOOOOOOOO good. :) The blush and grey tones are just so pretty.

This one too– I ADORE this rug.  It’s so fabulous paired with orange accents (orange chairs from here, my pillows and an IKEA bookshelf). The walls are Benjamin Moore Hale Navy.

And these. Okay, I love them all. :)

This rug is awesome too– with so much texture.

We’re also doing coir doormats! I wanted them to be super classic but also with a touch of modernism.

Super crazy to see my face on the front of a building.

I cannot wait for these to launch publicly– I know it’s an annoyingly long wait, but it will be worth it, I promise!!!!

  1. look at what you’ve accomplished! Great job. And you make sure the quality is there as well. I’ve got your velvet leopard print pillows and I love them. Hopefully they’re still available for anyone who didn’t pounce on them when they first came out.
I pounced and they make me happy every day.

  2. You killed it Erin!!! Such an awesome collection and it was so wonderful spending time with you this weekend in HP! Thanks for all your hard work and beautiful concepts. The rugs are just gorgeous and you deserve all the success! Go mama!

  3. Congratulations to you! An incredible achievement. We need to talk about your look though – blouse? Earrings? Belt? SO gorgeous.

  4. Everything is beautiful but I love that you added doormats as well. Will be looking for those to go on sale for sure! I’ve purchased 6 of your pillows and a throw from your first collection and love it all. I noticed you mentioned you had a throw from your new collection which I have been looking for but havnet seen….is that part of another release coming soon?

  5. These rugs really are some of your best designs yet! I think this branching out is really showing the breadth of your creative genius– if I may say that without sounding like a major butt kisser!

  6. love at first sight. looking forward to more info on your rugs, and do you have a price point you could share?

  7. These are awesome. You must be pinching yourself. I wish you’d show more pics of your outfits because they are totally my style so I always love them all. That is a great pic of you standing with the rugs. You look much more relaxed and authentic than the photo on the building …..just my two cents. Use it for your profile pic!
Keep up the good work, mama!

  8. What beautiful rugs! I’ve been holding off getting one in my master bedroom because I don’t want the dog digging on the edges while we are sleeping. She loves doing it on our downstairs rugs – but at least I’m awake there to redirect her attention. Create these same amazing designs in dog-dig-proof and I’ll give you all my money! :) Keep up the great work!!

  9. Erin, I’m so excited for you! The rug collection is awesome, and it’s amazing to watch all your hard work paying off! I love how your smile in the pic underneath the billboard says it all… joy!
    Congrats!

  10. Congrats!! How exciting for you (and us). I am literally buying that leopard rug the minute it goes online, I’m obsessed! Can’t wait to see it in person. Will these be on Wayfair?

  11. Who makes the blazer you are wearing in the top pic? Love it and have been looking for the right one (just like that) for ages. Thanks!

  12. GIRL! I. AM. OBSESSSEDDDDD. I’ve been following you for YEARS and am so excited to get my hands on one of these rugs! Congrats and thank you for continuing to fill our homes with such goodness!

  13. These rugs are quite fabulous. Saw them in person, as well as Erin! And yes, she is as lovely in person as she is in photos. Got an autographed copy of Elements of Style. While we don’t know price points yet, I have a feeling they will be accessible for a broad audience! Thank you, Erin!
