Growing Pains

My Dearest Readers-

I wanted to reach out and update you on the launch of my product line, which has been a trying process to say the least.  With growth and expansion of my brand, I have been diligent and thoughtful, but am realizing how much of what happens when taking things to a larger scale is out of my control. Especially on the technology front!

As you may have noticed, some of the pricing on some of the pillows on the Wayfair and AllModern sites has been fluctuating in the last 48 hours.  This is a kink that is being worked out as we speak.  I am upset that this has happened (along with the other issues we’ve had) and want you to know that I take this VERY seriously and appreciate and respect that you would spend your hard earned money on my goods.  So once the price issue has been settled I will let you know how to go about getting a price adjustment if you paid more than what the final price is supposed to be. In the meantime, feel free to e-mail me personally with any questions or concerns. I am listening-

Thank you for being patient with us while we navigate this crazy path to becoming “a brand”.  While it is incredibly exciting (I totally love this collection and don’t want these technical issues to mask that) it is eye-opening and complicated.  My appreciation for your time and support is endless.

  1. You can’t control technology, it’s not your fault, and I don’t think anyone thinks that you aren’t doing everything in your power to fix the issue. It’ll all work out!

  2. Don’t let these frustrations dampen your excitement over this amazing accomplishment. As my mother always says “nothing worthwhile in life comes without its challenges”. Remember all you went through to get pregnant……..and look how that turned out :)!!! When this is in the rear view mirror, it’ll seem like a blip and you’ll be enjoying the success of your new products (and, hopefully, more to come in the future).

  7. Never ending support from ‘over the pond’. The line looks truly gorgeous and that is worth any wait. We run our own business so understand that advancement can be tough, but you will get there in the end and should be so proud of every step, large or small. Nothing good ever came easy! P.S. Could Henry get any cuter in his fall outfits?!

Please be assured that these issues in NO WAY take away from the beautiful line you’ve created nor do they diminish our enthusiasm for them. We all support you!
    P.S. My pillows (green velvet Greek key) are scheduled to arrive today and I am beyond excited!!!

  9. I placed my order for two leopard pillows and two grey velvet pillows w/greek key trim. They have arrived!! I am stuck at work and can’t wait to get home to open my packages! I should have shipped them to my office, but was too excited when placing my order that I didn’t even think about it.

    Don’t worry about the glitches – completely out of your control! Keep making beautiful things! :)

  10. So strange that kinks are still being worked out. I bought one of the grey pillows and some candles and the pillow arrived today. Great quality and looks great! I will say the box came a little strange because the tape wasn’t on there very well and it was pretty much open when it arrived. I was afraid someone stole my candles, but thank goodness, they just hadn’t shipped yet !

I don’t think the websites’ errors are ANY reflection of you, your work ethic, or your brand whatsoever.   15. Love my new green Greek pillows so much! They are really well done and I couldn’t be more pleased! So much so that I just received an email from AllModern that the leopard throw pillows were back in stock so I bought two of those and one more Greek key! Score! So excited for all of the other products to launch. Congratulations Erin, you nailed it with this collection! And love Henry, he is just beyond precious.

  16. I’m getting caught up on my reading, so I’m late to the party with this comment. I just wanted to say that you handled the launch hiccups perfectly. You were honest and accessible to your customers. Talk about grace under pressure! It must have been incredibly frustrating for you, but you kept your cool (at least publicly!) and were very genuine about making things right. There are plenty of established brands that could learn a thing or two from you! Keep it up… I’ve been a reader for a long time and wish you the very best!

  17. Just got 2 of your Greek Key lumbar pillows and managed to score one of your leopard pillows off of Wayfair. All 3 were wrapped and boxed amazingly well and I was really happy with the quality. I mostly balk at the prices for high end pillows (insert not even included) so it was a pleasure to open my packages and find such lovely things. Despite the hiccups, your brand made an AWESOME first impression on me. Would you consider one day offering framed wallpaper panels like the ones you had custom made? Gorgeous!
