Fashion Friday: Where I Shop For Henry

Sorry this is late- Henry’s nanny is out sick so I’m a little behind! A lot of you have asked me on Instagram to do another post about where I shop for Henry– so here you go, a big roundup of where I shop again and again for the little man.  Shopping for girls is easy (my ovaries shudder every time I see something baby girl that is leopard) but boys are a little harder, so I hope this helps!

Gap and Old Navy constantly leave packages by my door not only because their stuff in on trend and well made for the price, but they are ALWAYS having a sale (like right now, 35% off everything).  They have total classics too, like the cable sweater below that I bought when it was on clearance last spring in every size- he’ll probably have one for every year until he goes to college).

Mini Boden and Joules are British brands that are so well made and adorably fun.  Bright colors, lots of stripes and cute details.

Carter’s/ Oshkosh is such a good deal, sometimes I feel like the deals I find are criminal.  I stick to the items that aren’t emblazoned with phrases like “Mommy’s Little Studmuffin” or other creepy things and go for more of the mini sized man garb like this fleece vest and plaid shirt (I stopped buying mini dress shirts because they have to be ironed and ain’t nobody got time to iron baby clothes!) Target also had a new line out called Cat & Jack that is really cute.

Zara is great for sweet European influenced looking basics and more “high fashion” looking pieces.  Henry’s had three of those striped bateau tees!  H&M is where ALL his basics come from- the onesies and tees are so affordable and I love that they don’t have the foldover shoulders but rather two snaps so no bagging. :)

Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack have trendier things, but also great lines like Boden, Tucker & Tate, Peek, fashion denim and the like.

Other I shop at are Janie & Jack when I want him to look uber-preppy or like he runs his own private equity firm, Hanna Andersson (almost every pair of PJ’s is from here- they are so high quality and last a long time!) and Polarn O. Pyret for striped basics (also really well made- they run HUGE though, fair warning).

etc

Some fancier/ European brands I love that I’ve picked up at various small boutiques ( in Boston I love NRO Kids, Fritz & Gigi, Tiny Hanger , Red Wagon and psyched to check out new shops Kodomo and CouCou ) are Mayoral (awesome pants!), Petit Bateu and Egg by Susan Lazar.

Where are your fave places to shop for baby?
