Books are wonderful for so many reasons- intellectual stimulation, education, visual delight….and decoration. Yes, books are amazing objects of decor on top of being wonderful to pass time looking at and reading. The two things that most liven up and add depth to spaces are plants and books. So here are 24 great books that are interesting to read and are AWESOME for your decor too.  I tried to pick a selection that I haven’t seen ad-nauseum (we all have the Domino book already, right?)

Hi Claudia. A fellow blogger, Rebecca, told me about your dollhouse and blog. Loved both! I just bookmarked your blog and will check in with you.

I love blogging, too, and love dollhouses. In addition, I was happy to see you post daily. I do, too, and it’s a loving part of my entire life, as I’m sure it is for you!

    Hope your Thursday is terrific.

I was unable to tell what state you live in. Do you tell? Sincerely, Susan

I used to work in an antiques showroom in Dallas and the Allegra Hicks book was my favorite to use! It looked so perfect with everything, especially with an aqua Murano bowl stacked on top of it!

I’m always looking for new book suggestions so this is great. I have another Flowers book (similar to 16) but I can’t think of the name of the photographer right now. It’s out of print and I ended up getting it for 53 cents at a thrift store.
