Fashion Friday: Pantone’s Fall Colors

Pantone’s Fall Colors for 2012 were announced yesterday and here they are:

I was pondering which colors to pair with which others to illustrate how to use them for fall when I realized they were already perfectly paired on top of each other! So here is an illustration of a room and an outfit utilizing these on-trend colors. Which is your favorite?

Bright Chartreuse+ French Roast

Olympian Blue + Honey Gold

Pink Flambe + Titanium

Tangerine Tango + Rhapsody

Ultramarine Green + Rose Smoke

(I will source all these images the second I have time, I am rushing to catch a train to NYC!!!)

My friends that are in graphic design received the fall colors a few months ago and rushed over to let me know (lol!)

I love that your Mom posted a comment above me, there’s no comment like one from a beloved family member. Happy Friday Erin!

Hard to choose between Olympian Blue + Honey Gold and Ultramarine Green + Rose Smoke. By the way, those would be perfect names for crayons. The 96-piece version, of course. =)

  16. I love all of the creative design inspiration that you create for your blog posts. Your outlook on design is so unique and interesting. That being said, I really love the Olympian blue + Honey Gold. I am also a sucker for purple so Tangerine Tango + Rhapsody is a favorite too! Although I’m really not sure I could ever purchase an orange couch for my home!
