That buffet from an estate sale is my favourite piece. I liked it before when it had a blue interior, and still like it with the orange!
Thanks for such a resourceful post!! You have such great taste and I love the way you mix expensive and “cheaper” pieces to create a beautiful space! xoxo
Thanks for the sources and tips! I also appreciate the mix of affordable and more pricey, high-quality items. Thanks!
Thanks Erin! Very helpful!
Do you like the Ikea stools? Comfy? Want to get for my kitchen peninsula. Thanks!!
Great, thanks. I’d switch the Persian rug with the jute. Love that buffet and remember the blue interior.
Thanks Erin!! I admit that I had to giggle every time you mentioned Homegoods. I had a HUGE estate sale over the weekend with tons of things from Homegoods. When the estate ladies had to price things for the sale, they couldn’t believe they were from Homegoods. I’m going to miss it when I move to NYC. I’ll have to “slum it” at ABC Carpet!! Do you have any recommendations for something comparable to Homegoods in NY? Thanks!
Thank you for the sources, Erin!
Happy Wednesday.

Love that you included sources – how nice. I have a question about the chairs – when you say “super uncomfortable” what do you specifically mean? Are they hard with little cushioning or is the back too straight, etc. I’ve had my eyes on those from Ballard for a while but I don’t want something that is not comfy. Any other Bergere Chair recommendations?
Thanx!
I’ve been looking for orange bedding just like what is in your master bedroom. I love it! I’m so excited to have finally found it. Thank you so much for the info.
Thanks for taking the time to let us know where you got all your amazing furnishings…very inspiring!!!! And such a great mix! Love the stool in the guest room…
I love that this is such a designer-look apartment with such realistic and available items. Just goes to show, it’s all in the mix!
Happy summer! I love all of the pictures! The first picture was beautiful! The zebra rug with the white trunk was gorgeous! I loved keeping up with your blog! Love, Jamie Herzlinger
Erin, you’re a wizard! Thank you so much for providing the sources (we were, of course, dying to know where everything in your gorgeous apartment came from)! You have such a great eye and we adore your blog!
Oh I didn’t see these photos on everygirl, so nice! That rug in the guest room…want it!

Soo I’m from Boston and living in the Midwest…when you decide to move, please let me know as I will relocate and purchase your home, as is.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your home.
Love your apartment- so chic! Thanks for sharing your sources with us!xx
Painting in living room is a copy of Amanda Talley, correct?
The quick ‘night-before-the-shoot’ painting was my favorite part of the apartment! Totally tied the living room together.
Looking for good bar stools, how are the Ikea Henriksdal? Did you get the white or linen?
are you kidding me? You painted the art piece? I love it and may i hire you to paint me one? really. I’m serious!
You’re so sweet to include all your sources; thank you! LOVE your place; it all looks so great. xo
Hi Erin,
Your post raised a point that I’m constantly struggling with… How do you get around sourcing items like your chairs when you can’t SIT in them beforehand? I’m constantly looking at items from Ballard, etc. but I can’t bear the idea of “investing” in a piece of furniture that is totally uncomfortable. I imagine that would be a problem even when you are using a designer… What can you do?
