I have the inside track on two positions available with a new fashion brand, one short term in Boston and one longer term in Chicago that I wanted to alert you readers to in case any of you are looking! It’s a really exciting and fun opportunity for someone looking to get their feet wet in the field and I know my readers are the best of the best (because that’s how I got my assistant, and if she ever leaves me I will die. DIE.)
Boston: A 6-8 week position focusing on assisting the brand with initial launch, shipping, customer service, organization, daily administrative tasks and errands. Ideal candidate is an administrative pro. Must have a car and valid license.
Chicago: Potential longer term assistant position to the brand’s president. Must be detail oriented, very organized, experienced in an administrative role, have excellent communication skills and have an interest in the fashion industry- previous experience a plus. Must be a self-starter who is willing to wear many hats and is eager to roll up their sleeves and take on anything. Role includes various administrative tasks, shipping and stock of product, customer service, production assistance and vendor relations. Must have a car and valid license.
