A Hip British Wedding

I have totally morphed into an Anglophile recently- must be our impending trip to London this fall that’s got me feeling like EVERYTHING is cooler when British.  I mean, isn’t it true that anyone is made so much hotter with a British accent? I happen to think so…. Take a look at this awesomely cool and beautiful wedding in England shot by Emma Case at the quaintest inn called Hipping Hall.  Stone houses make me weak in the knees and I so wish I could be here right now wearing Wellies and drinking tea (and by tea I mean wine).

Love this sign. Love the Jenny Packham gown even more.

For seating cards they used guests’ baby pictures!

Seriously, that dress….

And a very unexpected pair of heels underneath!

Absolutely LOVE the way the boys look too! SO hip!!

Best. bridesmaids. dresses. EVA! I love when brides select patterned, non-bridesmaid specific dresses. These sparkly numbers are so killer and you know these girls will certainly wear them again!

Just love this whole look.

Adorbs.

Loose garden flowers. Perfection.

Knowing this little mowhawked boy has a British accent slays me. How cute is he?

And the best picture. Hope this was their holiday card.  The most important part of any wedding- HAVING FUN!

    gosh – this whole wedding is ENVIABLE.

  2. I share your obsession with anything British. I’ve compiled a list of musts for other readers like me:

    * Watch Downton Abbey
    * Read Love in a Cold Climate and Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford
    * Listen to Radiohead
    * Drink tea from a proper tea cup and eschew clunky mugs
    * Wear your Union Jack knickers!
    * Cheer for soccer
    * Adore the Royal Family
    * Eat fish and chips with vinegar

  3. Check out luxehomeswap.com if you love everything british. Tons of British people have fab second homes and list them there. We just did a swap and it was fantastic!
