A reader alerted me to this gorgeously boho Brit Alix Verley-Pietrafesa and her clothing line Alix of Bohemia. As an offspring of a textile legacy and daughter to creative parents it’s no doubt that she ended up being a eccentric fashionista. Her small run garments are all ethically made by hand and I for one, am obsessed. I have declared this summer my “season of preppy bohemia” and am going to amass garments that blend the genetically predisposed pink and green blood with my eternal desire to be gloriously bohemian (I’ve got the yoga thing down…onto the lifestyle). There is something a little “Royal Tenenbaums” about her style too- the adorable handwriting and drawings and the smoking jacket perhaps?
Ummmm, leopard shorts with paisley lining? Hellloooo.
The fit of this smoking jacket looks impeccable!

The second “Edie” blouse with the playful pink polkadot lining is totally gorgeous. Would be divine at an outdoor cocktail party with white jeans and a pair of platinum jacks.
Great post, thanks for letting us know about it. There are so many amazing designers out there it is sometimes overwhelming but this like looks great!

Sooooo wish I could pull off that white dress! It’s divine – although I think it would look waifish on me.
So many pretty things here! First off, I love those leopard shorts…the detailing is amazing! And then, all of those Bohemian, flowy shirts-perfect for Spring weather!
Like white on rice! Orrr, like Mrs. Roper on a caftan…XXOO
It’s dumbfounding what a little bit of color and design ingenuity can do for a standard boho look.
What a small world … Hi Erin, love this blog!!! Alix is my niece who lives in Hong Kong!! What a fantastic surprise!
What fun eclectic pieces – boho chic with a dash of retro glamour!
