When I saw this amazing girl’s bathroom by Grant K. Gibson for the Elle Decor Showhouse I was reminded of how the Keep Calm poster has become a bit of an iconic classic in the last few years (you can buy the classics in sfgirlbybay’s Etsy shop).
And while it’s a great reminder to keep a level head about you, sometimes you just can;t help but be negative. And so part of me loves these parody posters even more than the classic! A great gift for someone having a tough time who might need a good laugh!

I think “Keep Calm and Call Mom” is the best. I do have to say that “Keep Calm and Carry On” as bathroom art is rather funny. Carry on with… what? The crossword? The book you are reading?
I saw these the other day on etsy…they are hilarious…since it isn’t always possible( and sometimes practical) to keep calm…it is good to know that there are other options…flinging oneself on the bed and sobbing hysterically, for instance..loved your post Erin!! I love the colors of the bathroom and how cozy it feels, but the poster in there seems a little weird, as if you need motivation to finish doing your business. I hope nobody needs motivation for that.
Love these. It’s so true. Sometimes it’s just not possible to suck it up and carry on.

I love the parody’s…and I agree the tongue in cheek of them is more fun the original. I don’t think I could read them without smiling if I tried! I have also seen one which reads” Keep calm and drink coffee”…my personal motto ;)
