I always loved this picture of Windsor Smith’s entryway- the pops of orange in the gown in the photograph with the boxes and bag and the sweet equestrian boots under the drop dead gorgeous brass console.

But wait, back to that photograph…

I found out the picture is by photographer Mark Shaw and when I found the Andrew Wilder Gallery collection of his prints I could not stop staring! His compositions of women, whether in their home, back stage, at work or posed outdoors are all spectacular. I don’t know how you would pic just one…

He also shot many celebs- including Jackie O, Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn.

Ooh wonderful! Love everything about this post, I always wished I was around then for this era, so stylish. So happy I found you. Amberx

OMG – what a fabulous find – absolutely ADORE his work!! I also always loved the Windsor Smith photo but the segue is even better. Going straight to the Andrew Wilder Gallery site!
what a wonderful set of photos! I saved many of them as inspiration, thank you for showing me his work and how it was used in context of a modern day home.
Fab photos. I’ve always loved that entry. The styling is perfect.
Spectacular post…visually stimulating…photography timeless and awe inspiring, fashions exquisite….even my husband who happened to be walking by when i was reading this post….stopped and stared. I would love to own some of Mark Shaws prints…or a coffee table book showcasing his work.
These images are stunning. Each one has a lot to express. I am happy to find out that the console is brass. I love this image too.
Have a nice week.
