Napa Blogging: Carneros

First of all I need to whine.  I never get sick, ever and of course as soon as we arrive on this magnificent trip I fall ill. Perhaps strep throat even. I. AM. PISSED.  No, make that sad, because this is our first family trip in like 10 years and its such a magnificent place and I get friggin’ sick as a dog. Not fair.

Anyways, here are some shots of The Carneros Inn where we are staying- truly the most charming, romantic place ever!

I took a bath under the stars last night on our patio with an outdoor fire going! AMAZING!

  2. Oh no! It seems like everyone is sick right now (including me). At least you have a beautiful room to recoup in. Send someone out to get you zinc lozenges ASAP! They really do help. Feel better!

  8. That is some bummer news…hope you’re on the mend asap. How’s the quality of the espresso from that Espressioni machine? I’ve always wanted one, but a very well-versed barista once told me they were much more about form than function. And you say…..

What a lovely estate and gardens – very artisric in appearance. And an outdoor bathtub as well. The decor in the houses look nice and neutral to suit all tastes as well.

Hope you had a great time despite being under the weather. My husband and I stayed there 3 years ago but didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor bath or the espresso machine, perhaps we should’ve upgraded! Or maybe they’re just new features :) wall art
