I was introduced to Hillary Thomas’s work through one of the One King’s Lane Tastemaker Tag Sales. I totally relate to her mix of bright color and pattern with naturals and solids and combination of styles, from ethnic to vintage to traditional and modern. None of her rooms seem overly done and each seems to have an element in it of “risk” which gives them all a unique, unexpected look without being in your face.
That pagoda armoire is ridiculous. I can’t stop staring.
This little yellow chair makes my heart sing. So does that green vase and mirror.
The large scale photos here are totally unexpected and make the room memorable and funky.
Orange and purple is a rarely seen but rich a fun color combo (and the color combo of my dining table scape for my event next week!)
Love those roman shades!
