Kitchen Porn 2.0

This kitchen and I are going to have a torrid affair one of these days.

It’s those Hicks Pendants. They have such a “come hither” stare, how could a girl resist?

This is it. Finally found it. This will be my kitchen. I’m printing, clipping and posting it above my desk.

Just finished a renovation of our kitchen and used these pendants. Was nervous when I ordered them (my husband thought they looked so 70′s) but couldn’t be happier. They have a great “found” quality about them which helps my “new” old home look less contrived and more like it evolved over time.

LOVE the pendants…but sadly out of my price range too. :( BUT, we’re copying that hood in our kitchen renovation!

The Hicks pendants definitely take the kitchen to another level…without them it would be just simple and pretty. I love that the pair gives it an edgier, more interesting personality. I’m thinking about using an extra large one in our covered patio http://bit.ly/bBBV9O. It’s way more than I wanted to spend there, but no other fixture even compares!
