SATC 2 and Katie Ridder!

I’ve been studying the details of the set photos of Sex and the City 2 pretty closely and have been able to identify some fabrics, furniture and accent items but the one piece I had trouble with was this FABULOUS wallpaper seen throughout Bog and Carrie’s home:

Then this morning it came to me- that there is some Katie Ridder deliciousness- more specifically, the Oiseau paper in chocolate! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.  I love all the colorways, actually:

It also comes in fabric:

I designed a powder room using her amazing large scale leaf paper- it’s one of my favorite things I’ve done:

It too comes in fabric, which I think would make INSANE drapes!

Katie did a dramatic and cheery pantry room using her own seaweed wallpaper- adore it, especially for a fun beach house!

Loving the blue fabric version for a couple of club chairs or a bench!

Speaking of SATC 2- how fabulous did SJP look last night at the premiere in Valentino ( a dress I picked as what I would have worn to the Oscars!!)

  1. I have already Fandangoed (is that a word?!) my ticket. I am excited to see the girls, the clothes, the sets, the decor.

Stop by today to see a fun party I had with Eddie Ross — and I think you’ll like my necklace, too!

  2. So many wonderful things in 1 post! Love the wallpapers and the fabrics – and all the ladies looked so beautiful last night! I cannot wait until thursday!

  3. Can you please tell me the color gray that is painted on the walls in the powder room?! I am looking for the perfect gray for my living room/dining room and can’t seem to find it! Thank you!!

  4. Love this post – especially since I’m obsessed with wallpaper as of late!! I love, love, love that leaf wallpaper!!! (looks great in the powder room :)!

  5. Carrie and ‘Bog’?!

I love that wallpaper too. I can’t wait to see the film, although the reviews in the UK have been pretty dire. But I will certainly be going along and loving every minute of it!

  6. ack! I’m using that leaf fabric in a project right now! I love it!!! I’m not surprised that you picked that dress and now here it is on a star…you have an amazing eye!
ps…I love the butterflies under the cloche!!!

  7. I love the last piece of wallpaper…so pretty. And SJP looked 1000000 times better than she did at the Oscar’s.

  8. Wow, love that wall paper! Also love the shape of that mirror! I actually think it’s perfect for dressing and makes you look slim because of it’s hourglass shape! Just something I noticed while in an interior design store in San Fran this weekend!

  9. I am in love with that fabric- is it to the trade? Would you be able to place an order for me?

  10. I think SJP best accessory is her husband in the backgound looking proud and admiring her from afar!

  11. I just love Katie’s textiles. The bold prints are such fun. I love what you did with that powder room. Seeing the reflection of the pattern in the mirror would make me smile every day.

  12. SJP looks amazing! Best I’ve seen her in AGES — so much younger-looking when she tones down the make-up. And of course I love the Katie Ridder wallpaper.

Is it sad I’m more excited about the interiors than the clothes?!?!?

  13. Crazy good bathroom Erin!!! I actually added that wallpaper to my luv file. Thinkin it would work for my office.
I was over the moon over Kristin’s dress…Decades should not be surprised. What did you think of SJP’s party look from Elie Saab???

  14. Were you able to find out where the lamps were from? I absolutely LOVE the height and the shape!

  15. can you do wallpaper on lathe and plaster? just curious, as I love the paper and am redoing a bath and love it!…it is a small bath that needs character on one o fhte walls!
