How does one end up being a muse for Chanel? I’d like to submit my resume please. Seriously, between these two women, both closely involved in the fashion house, my level of jealousy could not be frothed up any more! First is Laetitia Crahay, accessories designer for Chanel and all around hip and happenin’ Parisian goddess. I mean, look at her friggin’ jewelry closet?!?! And that marble mantle is to die for! I love her whimsical, “I only keep around what I love” approach to her apartment. I want to take the approach in my new space.
Ines de la Fressange is a former Karl Lagerfeld muse and current consultant/muse/whatever for Roger Vivier and Jean Paul Gaultier (she walked the 2009 runway for him at age 51). I’m sure you remember her pink apartment from the cover of Domino. But whats the harm is looking at it again? She too clearly is not super serious about decor, which is refreshing. Parisian women proving yet again how effortlessly cool they are!
