Now, the items don’t have to be from Homegoods, but I bet a lot of yours are. I went this weekend looking for lamps for the charity dream room project I am installing this week, and not only did I find the PERFECT lamps, I found THIS:
Oh hello grey and cream imperial trellis rug! You are comin’ home with mama! Can you believe this? I said out loud in the aisle “you have got to be KIDDING ME”. The grandmother looking at bathmats next to me gave me glance suggesting I was crazy.
$50. Now in my bathroom. Holla.
Also spotted were about 100 incredible lamps, my favorites being these with the black and cream ikat shades:
And this amazing mirror (which could look stellar painted white, black or a bright color):
I forgot to take pics of the other stuff I actually bought: a killer Buddha statue for the office, geode book ends (also for my office) and great Missoni-esque pillows for the old wing chairs in my office that make the chartreuse old upholstery look somewhat chic. I also spotted some great bedding, lanterns, grey velvet modern club chairs and faux imperial trellis pillows, but I had to restrain myself a bit.

I bought those Ikat lamps a couple of weeks ago at my local Homegoods in CT and LOVE them!!
I have GOT to get over there. For some reason I never go to Homegoods bc there are none in Philly and it requires me to cross the bridge to Jersey. But this stuff makes me realize its def worth a twenty minute trip!

WHY, WHY, WHY!!! I live in the suburbs of Seattle and there is no HomeGoods to be had!! Why, we are desperate. When you talk to the higher ups for your contest, put in a good word for the Pacific Northwest!

Just went to HG yesterday and my mouth dropped open as it usually does when I went over to the lamp aisles. Ceramic lamps in every color in the rainbow, ridic! That place is insane sometimes.

True story: Today, I’m walking through my biggest local Homegoods,in the bath section and I hear a woman asking an employee if they have any Imperial Trellis rugs in the back. Turns out her male friend had seen it on your blog and they really wanted it. I think you sent a LOT of people off to their local Homegoods looking for that rug. By the way, I bought two sets of Imperial Trellis pillows there two weeks ago. I think I also spied them in La Dolce Vita’s awesom bedroom, hidden behind some other pillows. I seriously LOVE your blog!!!
My daughter wanted a bath rug for her newly painted master bathroom. So . . . we went to Mall of Georgia HomeGoods and came out with the perfect rug. It picks up the wall color and the tile colors as well. Oh . . . it also blends perfectly with the stained glass window. Well worth the trip (always is!)
I bought the exact rug two month ago at Homesense. I freaked in the store and bought 3!! One large creme, one runner green and a small green one! Love the prices and I knew it was a matter of time before my favorite blogs got a hear of it.
I found imperial trellis lamps at Homegoods several months ago and I absolutely love them. I received several compliments in the store alone. At one point a customer said, “ooh, those weren’t here yesterday.”
Wow, I need to head to Homegoods!
