I am writing this from my very comfy seat on Virgin America en route to Los Angeles. Can I just tell you how much I love this airline? On time departure, awesome tv/entertainment center thingy, INTERNET ACCESS, yummy food, funny staff…rock on with yo bad self Richard Branson. Anyways, this little weekend trip is full on niceties for me- some exciting meetings, a nice room at the Mondrian West Hollywood all to myself, time with my BFF from boarding school, shopping and a little bit of sun (although it looks like its going to rain quite a bit….) *pouty face* Stopping in to see Jen of Bando and Annie of Empiric too…so I hope to have some great pictures of hip, happening L.A. wares, spaces and places!

Fun! Flew to LA last weekend from DFW – on American cause I don’t think we have the choice of Virgin Air (frown). We were in Marina Del Rey. The weather was supposed to be rainy both days, but ended up being gorgeous and just raining over night Friday night. Maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised! You will love that everything is green and blooming and (hopefully) sunny!! The bird of paradise were amazing….We spent Sat. in Manhattan Beach, which was lovely – cute shops and fun places to eat right on the ocean. Enjoy!!

Ooh, I considered the Mondrian for our honeymoon stop in LA. We ended up going with the Sofitel. Looking forward to your thoughts on it!
