I’m not thin, not fat, I’m in the middle. As a girl, I think that part of my birthright is to be able to wear a girdle. My husband may need one more than I do, but I like having the sense that I am the only one in the couple who, for the sake of my appearance, has the stamina necessary to wear a pretty sundress, heels, and a pair of Spanx all day long if I choose to. Besides, if he wore one of these things, he couldn't tease me when I breathe a sigh of comfort every night when I take mine off. We women deserve equal rights but let's at least keep some of the nice differences between the sexes. Spanx are for girls. Men couldn't handle them. I agree with all the sentiments expressed here.
