For A Good Laugh.

Check me out, I’m a triple threat today with three posts! This was too good not to share though. My brother posted it on Facebook and it’s so appropriate for this blog I had to leap over and show you all!  No matter where you go in this country, there are those local furniture store ads that completely horrify you and make you wonder “who shops there?” Well, here’s the best version of one I’ve ever seen. Be sure to watch the whole thing- it only gets better. HAPPY FRIDAY!

Laughing my ass off! My personal favorite was the 80’s light fixture (wait, aren’t they all?) and the Winona picture…thingy.

  2. Genius! “Hang this from you ceiling… because 1982 said so!” This is the best!

  3. Meli says:

    I did laugh a few times….but, Poor Winona…lol!

  4. Freakin’ Hilarious! Can’t wait to show the hubster!

  5. natalie says:

Oh my gosh!!!! Too great! The pis de resistance was “located on the corner of King of Prussia Blvd and Tri-state something.” Having gone to college new the King of Prussia mall…that was priceless.

  12. Morning T says:

    I love it Erin~ too funny!!! :-)

  13. Love it.

THE BEST is when someone refers you to one of these places, and you’re new to the area.

“You need a couch, you need to go HERE, my Nana got a great deal on a couch”

…..and you go. Within seconds you know you must leave immediately. One time my husband and I went to one and could not contain our laughter and basically fell out of the store. To this day just TELLING people I went in there illicits laughter.

“What the HELL were you doing there?”

    “I dunno, I was new, I didn’t know!”

  14. sooooooooooooo awesome!!!

  15. Fashion Maven says:

LMAO! I can’t stop laughing! Ohhhh so hysterical! I lost it when I saw the sign over the building and it really said – ugly furniture!

The Wynona Judd comment is pretty unnecessary, but this is still absolutely HILARIOUS.

  19. That is awesome! Hysterical!!!

  20. Grace says:

That is such a good take-off on the real ads – we have Bad Boy up here in Canada, and they sound exactly like that.

  21. Loved it….especially the 1982 comment. Thanks for the laugh!

  22. Maureen says:

This one delivered. When you say something’s funny you mean it!
First I laughed so hard I cried. Then I watched it again. Then I was thankful I didn’t own anything in it.
And now I have to go send it to everyone I know.

    Hah! Thanks!

Want a tear drop with frog eggs in it? Every house needs one! I cannot stop laughing! It’s on my FB page, this video is too funny not to share!

  24. OH! So THAT’S where the Real Housewives of the OC get their furniture…thanks for clearing that up for me!

  25. Classic. You totally completed my day. Thank you! I think the. Real Housewives of Atlanta shop at the same store…it probably has a contract with Bravo

  26. PJ says:

I work in the furniture industry and I can’t tell you enough how AWESOME this video is! I really wish one of our retailers would buy air time and run it.

    Great job!

  27. Jenny says:

Hilarious! I used to attend Furniture Market (High Point and Tupelo – yeah, Tupelo) and some of the showrooms have stuff like this and you always wondered “Who the heck is buying that crap for their store?” and “Who the heck buys that crap at the store for their house?” Thanks for sharing!!

  28. Barchbo says:

My husband and I just watched it and we laughed so hard we cried! We just finished renovating our house, and Austin is filled with stores who sell crap like this. The non-melting ice sculpture is something we’ve seen a lot of around here. Thanks for sharing!

  29. Laura says:

GENIUS!! Especially the Winona Judd commercial. I have definitely been to furniture stores like this…weird crystal geometric statues, terrible wall art, plastic-y furniture for the “parlor.” I’m dying. Thanks for sharing that!!
