I was so delighted to see that Mr. Boddington’s Studio was having a holiday card sale on One Kings Lane! I absolutely adore hiswork and snapped up a bunch (don’t be surprised to get one if you are on my card list!) I’m going to line the envelopes myself with wild printed paper and feel oh-so-festive about the money I saved!
How can you not love Mr. Boddington? I mean this is the description that accompanies his work:
“While he spends most of his time sailing the West Indies and sipping gin and tonics, Mr. Boddington keeps a design studio in New York City. It is there where classic and whimsy come together to create couture correspondence.”
I guarantee you’ll lose a solid hour looking through his site!

Oh boy, now I feel like I should be lining my envelopes too, it would really make the cards “sparkle” as you say! Where do you get your lining paper?…Paper Source?

I LOVE Mr. Boddingtons, I almost used them for our wedding invitations but went with this artist at the last minute, but I digress. They are so preppy and quirky and I love how they incorporate the couple into a personalized wedding invitation that is still classic.
