I saw this gorgeous inlaid bone mirror on Wisteria the other day and was immediately inspired to find a use for it in a fantasy powder room. What came from it was this scheme- a little moody, but clean ad sleek too. I’d paper all the walls in charcoal Imperial Trellis, paint the ceiling in Ralph Lauren’s Regent Metallic paint in Silver Plated, hang my favorite Mini George chandelier and anchor it with Waterfall Bath’s Louis Vanity in grey accessorized with Michael Smith for Kallista’s drop-dead glass knob faucet.
It’s inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow’s bathroom in the Hamptons. *Swoon*
I love dark powder rooms. Since they are generally small spaces, they are a great place to add drama.
I will never tire of that trellis. It's gorgeous in all it's incarnations!
omg, that is so gorgeous. I look at my current bath/ensuite in the house we are building and say to myself "how could I improve on this?" and then I see your dream bathroom and say *sigh* – "oh, that's how"…

Gorg fantasy powder room – kinda over the Gwynnie-infatuation, though. Yes, she's got great style, but she's the freakin' poster child for born-with-a-silver-spoon snobbery AND she denigrates America while still benefiting immensely from the opportunities afforded her here – 'tis a bad formula for earning fans.

Absolutely perfect! I painted by master bedroom ceiling RL's Iron Gate and love it. So much better than plain white ceilings…
Dark powder rooms are everywhere! I just keep seeing them and not too long ago one our blog readers asked about painting a bathroom black. Now I want a dark, moody, powder room…
