On overcast fall days all I want to be wrapped in are drapey knits that are both comfortable and stylish. And with today being day 2 (or 32 in my husband’s opinion) of “The Great Bad Mood of ’09″, I am craving clothes that reflect my mental state. The neutral and dark pieces by British label All Saints are PERFECT- rocker chick meets emo artsy. And even more perfect, they are shipping all US orders for free right now!
The sweaters all have really cool draping details that transform dull colors into something really chic. Imagine paired with jeans, print flats and statement jewelry…

I’m also adoring their simple leather biker jackets

They also have some incredible looking dresses- from girly to bad ass. I’d love to see this first one as a bridesmaid dress in a winter wedding!

Or maybe just a cool top? Pairing the plaid one with layers pearls and skinny black pants and booties would be INSANE and so Gwen Stefani.

Don’t worry, by next week I’ll probably be posting happy go lucky outfits full of color and blingy baubles. :)Have a great weekend!
xoxo

I am with you! I could see myself snuggling inside one of these GORGEOUS sweaters right now. I think it would make me feel safe and warm and not to mention stylish!!!!!
I love the clothes! I think I am going to get myself an early Christmas present. Wonderful selections. Thank you for sharing these. I probably would have never seen them if you didn’t post them on your stylish blog~ jamilyn
Funny you posted this because I have been in a funk all week! Love this site and now I’m running to check out the dresses for my bridesmaids next year! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Those sweaters are gorgeous! Hope your mood improves- I’ve been there and I know it’s not fun! :(
Love this label! Wouldn’t have found it without you! Have you ever ordered from them? Just not sure how the sizing runs since it’s European. I’m thinking maybe on the small side?
Met you in Anthropologie in Natick. You are just as pretty in person as you are on your blog ! Hope you have a good weekend. I think it’s the New England change of seasons that usually gets to me – I never gets used to these everlasting winters! Drives me to partake in a little retail therapy…:-) Take care-
I love the brown “trench dress”. Too bad it’s nylon, which I imagine wouldn’t be very comfy.
Love nearly every piece here…swoon! I have a scarf from All Saints, randomly, but haven’t seen their clothes anywhere…must check out site :)
I discovered All Saints while living in the UK- absolutely fabulous! I have a handbag which I use everyday and some sweaters and dresses that I find myself wearing over and over. Recently discovered their website also has a vintage section with last season pieces that are marked down (and still amazing)! Thanks for sharing Erin!

FYI, sizes run small- I’m a US size 0 and fit in size 6 (dresses are pretty fitted), 8 works too.
A great find! I love their asymmetrical knits- so hard to find in the US.
Love your blog by the way! I had your blog on a bookmark and then my computer crashed and died… I couldn’t remember your blog name. Then I realized how much I like your blog. It took me a while to find it again.
Erin, since your blog is where I turn to when I am in a funk, I am compelled to help YOU for once with my list of Things to Do to Get Out of a Funk!
1. Go buy yourself some flowers. Even the $10 bouquet at Trader Joe’s will cheer you up. Spend some time arranging the flowers, and enjoying them while you do.
2. Revisit your favorite yoga book or yoga magazine to reground yourself.
3. Go for a walk in nature! Aren’t there some nice walks in JP? (I used to live in Boston.) Mmm, fresh air.
4. Watch When Harry Meets Sally, or a similar funny, uplifting movie (with great shots of autumn).
5. Try out a recipe you’ve been meaning to try. It’s satisfying to get together those fresh ingredients and make something delicious! Why not make a little extra for your neighbor, or a client you’ll be visiting. Generosity alwasy boosts my mood.
6. Put on a super sharp outfit you love to simply WILL yourself into a cheerful mood.
7. Do you golfl.? If so, go to the driving range! Whack some balls to shake off the blues.
8. Put clean sheets on your bed and spray with linen spray. So cozy and cheery!
9. Make a refreshing drink: Sparkling water with fresh mint and lemon.
10. Plan a party. Totally counterintuitive, but I think throwing a little party is the best cure for getting out of a mysterious funk. Focus on your friends, good food and having fun!
Loving those drape-y sweaters! Yum.
Will you pretty please do a post on your favorite bar stools? What are some affordable options. In love with everything at DWR but not the 1k price tags!
i like charity’s top ten get out of a funk suggestions!! love those sweaters! i am definitely going to check them out – i like something that drapes without making you look large(r)!! have a lovely weekend.
Absolutely love All Saints. The Covent Garden neighborhood of London has some amazing stores. I miss the shopping (or the window shopping see as I was a broke student while living there)!
the weather today is prefect for warm drapey knits. these are all beautiful!
Thanks for sharing, love this line and had yet to hear about them…very Westwood influenced, no?
Oh Girl!!
Go to a museum. Find some small children and make cookies with them. Get busy. All will do wonders for the mood.
Erin, going to kill you! I just spent some serious $$$ at All Saints. I had never heard of them, and after your post, I fell in love! Can’t wait to receive my sweater (s)!! Really, thank you!
LOVE the sweaters and biker jackets.
