I’ve always LOVED this photo of SJP’s Hampton’s dining room (I’d add a rug and some modern art though- just FYI). I recall that the fixture was vintage, but I found one almost identical on Tonic Home- it’s called the Sara (coincidence?) and comes in a bevy of colors! What a GREAT way to add a pop of color to a dining room!
(Also still coveting the mismtached chairs all painted black!)

yes please!
That is gorgeous. The price tag is not.
Also love the mismatched chairs. And I agree about putting something on the walls. I suppose they wanted the chandelier to be the main focal point in the room.
I agree – this room definitely need at least an area rug. But it's a great start. I love the colors and the chandelier especially!
xx
This is absolutely gorgeous! I only wish the price were within my budget. I just love the way the light shines through the blue glass.
Excellent pick.
Wow! We are using this exact image as inspiration for a client right now. We love the chandelier and all the different chairs and have been trying to source something similar so thanks SO MUCH for the tonic tip. I agree with adding a rug and the modern art too.
I saw the same chandelier in a fabulous shop called Constantine in Toronto. So beautiful in real life too.
Not vintage though.
I love that chandelier! And the mis-matched chairs as well. Oh, to be rich and famous and have money to burn and designers calling you to try their wares!
yum.
The Pink colored glass shades for the chandelier are on the Constantine Interiors website. Thanks for the tip. I would love to replace my kitchen chandelier and would want to see the chandelier with the different color glass shade options. I think I like/need green.
I've always liked mismatched chairs painted the same color.
my young daughter LOVES design and we both love your blog. Wish I wouldn't have to define for her Lustworthy, pimped, sexy, etc. and how that works into design. I had to ban her from going to your site without me. weird.
Wow, such a great piece! I love that there's basically no color used in the room, besides the chandelier – it really pops.
after seeing this piece last week, i was inspired to write a post about the use of mismatched chairs all the same color…thanks for the great picture!
