I’m off this morning to visit my brother and his wife in Atlanta- and finally visit Mecca/Oz – Pieces!!!! I can’t wait to tour some of Atlanta’s best design shops! Here’s the outfit I wish I were wearing to board the plane- a light shirt dress, long vintage pearls (b/c as I learned in boarding school, girls in the south take their pearls seriously), funky gladiators and a man’s oversize gold watch. Not to mention a spritz of Juicy Couture’s perfume, which has this rich, southern lady smell to it. Have a great weekend y’all!!!

As an Atlanta native (now displaced!!) I'm excited for you! Lee's shop is also one of my favorites there! Incidentally my office was right around the corner…a great *quick* lunch spot is Henri's which is within a block of Pieces. Also, make certain you get over to the West side design district!!!! Visit Bungalow. You MUST go there! And if kiddos are anywhere in the picture, stop in B. Braithwaite, too. Silk Trading is over there, plus loads of other great shops! Ooh Lewis & Sheron is back there, too! Can you tell I'm jealous?! :) Have a great time!!
Oh so lucky! I'm from Atlanta – miss it terribly. Grab some chicken salad from Cafe at Pharr…it's the best!
And be sure to visit Miami Circle and ADAC. Have fun!

I have to say I was so excited this morning when I saw that you would be visiting Atlanta! As an Atlantan, Let me welcome you to our fine city! I keep trying to get my friends from Boston down here but i think they are afraid of the humidity down here. Enjoy and then tell us all about it on Monday.
We do take our pearls very seriously. I wore the same pair of studs almost everyday (even to the gym) in college.
p.s. did you learn about monogramming at boarding school also? I didn't think they had that obsession above the Mason Dixon line:)

Oooo fun. Make sure you pop by "Labels" as well. It is a great consignment shop right around the corner from Pieces. Last time I was in Atlanta I got some barely worn Balenciaga ballet flats there and a Michael Kors strip nautical top! Francisco, the owner is wonderful. Have fun.

You gotta try great spot "Star Provisions" for lunch…cute shops all around that area, plus Lewis & Sheron Textiles…
oh yeah, and the Savvy Snoot { a higher end home decor consignment shop} is across from Star Provisions.
