Fashion Friday: Lock Me Up

The new Tiffany keys charm necklaces are, well, quite charming. I’ve been seeing the ads everywhere and loving the idea of collecting a few on a chain (if I had $3,000 to spare). However, if like me you don’t have that kind of “fun money’ in your piggy bank, here are some other options:

Paris Couture Antiques has taken antique keys and turned them into really interesting pendants:

Max and Chloe have lots of options, including one with many charms (including a key).
Shopbop offers up a couple fashionable options:

Jennifer Meyer makes “lucky number” diamond and gold key necklaces:

This key necklace from Etsy has been embossed with a gorgeous design:

Another Etsy seller with a double key pendant for twice the fun:

You can try out this trend for next to nothing with this $12 skeleton key pendant from Fred Flare!

I’m off to the Brimfield Antiques Show today with camera in tow hoping to have a gaggle of pictures to show you on Monday!
Happy Weekend!

I actually prefer the antique and vintage keys to the Tiffany ones. I like that they have the patina and wear of keys that I envision in my head when I picture this shape.

This is such a great roundup! I really like the Max & Chloe necklace with the many charms. I normally wear gold but the silver one is really cool.

I've been seeing these around alot lately! They are just so quirky and charming. What would be better? If the key led to a secret garden or passageway… :)

(Yep, I'm mentally about 12… and yes, I love Nancy Drew)

Is it bad that I thought of Bella and the two keys she got for her "19th" birthday? Love the necklaces!

Thanks for the other sources, Erin! I so wanted one (or three) of the Tiffanys when the ads first appeared, but my practical side will never allow that to happen. I agree with Sarah though too that the quirky patinaed ones are probably more interesting.

I love them all. I jus love Jennifer Meyer, all her pieces are amazing. I have a feeling that we might be seeing Jennifer Aniston sporting Jennifer Meyer's key necklace in her next movie.

I adore the vintage key trend as well. I want some for my home to tie ribbons to the end of and put in a bowl on our entry table :]

I wore a key necklace last year & everyone kept making corny jokes like "Is that the key to your heart?" Glad to see other people can appreciate it :)

The ladies don't have to be the only one's sporting the "key" fashion. Here is a cool tie I found on etsy:

Some really fun finds :) Of course I'd love to have one of the Tiffany's pieces, but you've found some adorable alternatives.

I recently found a great necklace at Forever 21 that has a bunch of keys on it. Pendant style, with probably 7 keys of varying sizes and styles. I believe it was $6.80, and came in silver and gold options.
