I was lusting after the weekend homes on display in Susanna Salk’s newest book target=”_blank”"Weekend Retreats” this weekend. It’s a great collection of varied interiors for those of you looking for more inspiration (or motivation to save up and someday have your own weekend home!)
It somehow always seems easier to make a weekend retreat than the home we live in…and one day I hope to have a small spot to retreat too. Clean sheets, somewhat minimal, books, white and gray with pops of yellow….

what i wouldn't give for a "weekend" retreat. books can always take me on that dream journey. but i would love for my home to look like a weekend retreat m-fri!

I agree with PVE, there is something freeing about a weekend retreat that you can experiment in design wise. I would love a place to play with the space in all the quirky ways that sometimes you're just to hesitant to do in your full time home.
