I was obsessively pouring over the delightful Ruby Press blog (they gave me a lovely shout out this week) and stopped dead in my tracks when reading about this little bakery Heaven in the Catskills of NY. Run by a former model/pasty chef (not the most natural of combinations) and her photographer hubby, they live quite the sugar coated country life that I dream about (when not dreaming about city living. I have to get a hold on my real estate ADD). These pictures just made me want to sit in their gorgeous cafe space, sipping a latte and nibbling on a treat or two while listening to the entertaining tales these two undoubtedly have.
(I even love the t-shirts they sell from the town they have their shop in- *le sigh*)

If you’ve ever seen the credit card commercial where there’s a giant cupcake in the middle of the block, she’s the one standing next to it. I read that article too, her life sounds drool-worthy.
Ahhh..now that would be the life. I love to bake, & would love to make people happy with my delectable treats and lattes. (:

i have the same real estate add. i go back and forth between british country farm, bashing around in wellies and cashmere turtlenecks, before i realize that would mean living really far away from….everything. her life sounds fab…
