Movin’ On: Our Condo For Sale!

Andrew and I have decided to sell our condo- I’m itching for a new personal project and location wise it makes more sense for us and our work to be in the heart of the city until we find a house to renovate somewhere slightly “burb-esque”. E-mail me for pricing and addition information- and please pass along to anyone you know who might be interested!

28 Prince Street, Boston, MA
The unit is the first floor of an craftsman style home, renovated in 2007 on one of the prettiest and most desirable streets of the Pondside area of Jamaica Plain- Jamaica Pond at one end, the Arnold Arboretum at the other end! Perfect for a young family, this area of Boston is a fantastic mix of a suburban neighborhood feel (there is a street potluck every summer) with the convenience of the city. The shops and restaurants of Center Street are a 5 minute walk and you can be in Back Bay or at Fenway in 10 minutes!

The details:
*1,450 square feet.
* 3 large bedrooms/ 2 full marble and granite baths.
* Central air/ heat and radiant heat floors in the kitchen and baths for chilly winter mornings!
* Renovated HUGE eat in kitchen with granite, stainless steel appliances.
* Pantry with wine fridge and built in wine rack and glass cabinetry.
* Private patio/yard and deck.
* Wood burning fireplace.
* Tons of storage and half the basement deeded to the unit for storage (full size washer and dryer down there) or could be finished for a gym/ workshop/etc.
* Featured on the cover and in the Boston Globe Magazine.
* Included with purchase is a 10 hours of design time with Erin Gates of Element Interiors to make the space your own (would also entertain selling it furnished if desired)!

E-mail Erin at erin@element-interiors.com for more information!

  14. I’m sure you’ll have no problem selling your house. It’s really lovely! I’m a little sad since I’ve seen a lot of your projects shown here but that means there will be a new space your talented hands will get a hold of and we’ll hopefully see those transformations here!

  15. I think it is fabulous that you are including design time in the sale, but I don’t know how anyone will improve on perfection!

  16. Your condo is beautiful! I remember reading about your space a while back. I was very impressed and it was inspiring too, because the architecture of my house is so similar. I’m sure you’ll have nooooo problem selling.

  19. How lucky your buyers will be! I’ll spread the word. SO happy because I think you are considering the South Shore, my neck of the woods!?? Yippee!! I have THE BEST REALTOR ever for you. So nice, hard-working and all- around awesome. She loooooves to show houses as much as I (still) like looking at them. Peggy Dinger, Coastal Countryside in Cohasset 781 771-3270.

  20. Oh Erin, congrats on moving on. You’ll surly have some of the best MLS photos the area has seen in a long time!

    P.S. I used to live on the other side of the pond, at 100 Goddard. I lived in the servants quarters of the main house. What a wonderful neighborhood! :)

  21. I wish you lots of luck Erin! And even though we have our home, I would gladly purchase your dining room set :).

  22. hi! I love the chair in your kitchen area… my parents use to have one and I hated it but I adore how you (I presume) painted it black! What's this style chair called?
