Who wouldn’t want to win a whole house- especially when it’s the HGTV Green Home in Port St. Lucie, Florida? Already decorated and pimped out with all the latest and greatest in green products, all you’d have to do it turn the key (and pay the tax bill- which might be an issue!) Ahhh, never mind the messy details- I’ll be entering every day anyways!
Loving the stripes paired with the white sunburst mirror in the foyer, with just a hint of animal print!
Not a big fan of the living room- looks a bit anemic for a Floridian space…
Loving this vignette with the cane back chair, natural wood table, sleek lamp and classic bust- a great mix of styles and textures!

I love this lounge space- a couple of bright chaises sitting in front of some wine coolers with fantastic throw pillows and Stray Dog Designs lamp? I’d stay here 24/7. Wino alert.

The natural wood ceiling shown here is quite something!
Loving the horse print…
A sleek kitchen
A darling master bedroom (I would have done a more fun rug-Weinrib if money were no object!)

This little girl’s room is so bright and cheery- I love the mix of shades of pink and orange.

Great pics! Totally agree on needing something (color?) in the living room. I love that wavy mirror in the bathroom. I am so intrigued by these house giveaways and need to read the fine print (like who pays the property taxes if you win!). Pretty!!
Oh fun – I want to be there this weekend! I’m going to enter right away – if I win you can come and we’ll each take a chaise with a big stack of design mags and a nice bottle of wine between us :)
I love the HGTV Green Home. I think it is much better than the Sonoma Home – at least to my liking. My favorite spaces are the entryway – gorgeous!, the lounge area, the girls room and the outdoor space. Do you know that there is a roof top garden – how adorable? I agree that the master bedroom needs a more interesting rug. It looks a little bit boring this way.
And of course, if I win you can come and visit and stay as long as you want :)
I am in LOVE with all that orange! I love those chaises, and the throw blankets at the bottom of them- I would never leave either.
I have to admit this is not my favorite house decor wise. Lovely for sure, but not my favorite. The Sonoma house was a favorite, warm and cozy but with lots of intriguing art.
I agree on the bedroom rug – plain beige – for the love of God why?
I too didn’t get the living room. Ugly, no. But this is a show house for Pete’s sake so why leave those two vases on the console table empty? They missed a great opportunity to inject color and interest into the room and empty vases just made that plain console table look like a TV tray.
Did anyone else have a problem with the kitchen? Again I thought they missed the boat on the accessories. It seemed too sleek in contrast to the rest of the house, and with an open kitchen like that I think it would be off.
Don’t get me wrong, if I won it I’d take it and love it. Heck if I rented a house for the week and this is what I drove up to I’d be stoked. I just think it looks less cozy and “finished” than some of the previous HGTV homes.
And your remark about taxes. I read that HGTV added in a cash prize several years ago because all the prior winners had sold the house within a year due to taxes. One winner never even slept in it!!
Lol about the taxes on the HGTV homes. My husband and I entered the
Sanoma contest and we had to literally discuss what we would do if we won because of it…
I like the interiors of the green home much better. Love the vignette with the cane back chair. Great neutral palette and texture. I have to agree with you on adding a Weinrib rug to the master. The side tables are a great color, but the room needs a little more punch.
Can anyone identify where to two throw pillows are from on the chaise loungers? I need those beauties!
this house is amazing! i haven’t really liked them in the past, but this i’ll take!!!
Agree with your assessments of the HGTV Green Home. Foyer is definitely my favorite spot and you’re right, that master bedroom could DEFINITELY use a Weinrub rug!
Gorgeous. I am loving it all with exception to the blue bathroom tiles. I am having a hard time with that particular trend. Every other photo is perfection.
I don’t like the kids room. It is a GIRLS room. What should the winnder do if they have a boy? Honestly, the “kids” room should be gender neutral, not Sabrina Soto’s grown up fantasy of a kids room.
I also don’t like the tile everywhere, it’s way too much and does not look “BEACHY.” Tile that goes to the ceiling in the kitchen? Honestly, how do you clean it?
