Whenever I stop by The Selby to peek at the newest photographic adventures of Todd Selby I always have one thing on my mind “These people are so cool”. I mean, some of them appear to be kind of nuts, but in that “I could care less what you think of me” bohemian way. I covet that way of thinking sometimes because it’s so opposite to how I operate. However these two, Nicolas Malleville and Francesca Bonato, have nothing nutty about them other than their otherworldly beauty and impossibly rad lives. As I reviewed the pictures of them at their Mexican hotel/spa/perfumerie while sitting here in my paint splattered college sweats staring at the driving snow I can’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy (and by “twinge” I mean all consuming, raging jealousy).
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough let’s travel to the opposite end of the spectrum and visit these other cool people, Sofia and Thibault in Paris. Have you ever seen such a beautiful collecton of book spines in your life? Everything about them and this place screams “Paris” to me- even the light looks more enchanting…

My friend Mattieu is a fashion designer (291 and Love & Eight) and he shot his new collection in Tulum at their hotel. The pictures are ridiculous and I will secretly harbor resentment that we were not invited on the trip! :)
As far as Sofia is concerned… she had me at hello. Well her hair did anyway. She, with the help of Whitney Port, inspired me to make this winter the season of the extreme side part.

Annie, I so wish I could rock the deep side part. With my hair shorter now I feel like I look like I am attempting a comb over…..
haha.. how short is your hair! you look like Repunzel in all of the pictures I’ve seen! I’m growing mine out but know how that goes. The second it is long I want it short, vice versa, and so on…. we torture ourselves with this stuff! My stylist is instructed not to let me do the chop again (for awhile anyway).
