Good morning my favorite folks, and welcome to my 800th digression into posts about weddings! :) You must be used to it by now! Strap yourselves in for this one, because all brides to be and wedding addicts are gonna faint over the gorgeousness of my friend Katie’s wedding on the Connecticut shore. I had been stalking her amazing pictures shot by Winslow Martin on Facebook for a while and finally asked her if I could post them here. Enjoy!

Katie wore my absolute FAVORITE Vera Wang gown of all time- and paired it with a drool-worthy pair of blue Laboutins! My dream wedding outfit, hands down.

The crisp and unique color combo of orange and deep blue is perfect for a shoreline summer wedding.

The blue Vera Wang bridesmaids dresses are so chic, don’t you think?

Did you fall off your chair looking at the clear ceiling tent and bevy of chinese paper lanterns? Because I sure did.
For further stalking check out the whole album here. Congrats Katie, what a lucky girl you are!

The clear tent is gorgeous! So so pretty
Wow, what a stunning wedding!! Every single detail is thought of and done flawlessly, I’m saving these as inspiration for my future wedding, love them!!
Too funny – the last picture on the right is my sister Kristin!
Okay, that is the prettiest wedding I have seen yet. I literally sighed out loud at the dress and shoes. Very pretty post!
What a beautiful wedding, thanks for sharing! I loved the bridesmaid dresses and shoes, what a great pick.
This is such a beautiful wedding. Thanks for posting. I just spent an hour of my day going through all the photos of that wedding album. I guess I am a wedding crusher too. LOVE the Vera Wang dress.
Where did they have it? I’m from CT and am always on the lookout for great spots! Love the hydrangeas all over the arch for the ceremony.
That clear tent with all the paper lanterns lit up at night is….. it’s just totally WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t even think of a word to use for it other than WOW!!
And I’m in love with the blue hydrangea centerpieces — my absolute favourite flower :-)
The table seatings written on the shells is a cute and unique touch :-)
Everything about this wedding is gorgeous — thanks so much for sharing the wonderful pics :-)

Amber- I am pretty sure this is at her family’s house in Stonington, CT.
Everything about this wedding is AMAZING!!! Congrats Katie!!
Wow! I am in love with this wedding! I have always wanted to use orange in my future wedding, and this is such a great combination.
Thanks everyone, I am so flattered! It was in Stonington in our backyard. We–as in my mom and I, not my husband! :)– had a great time planning it. Erin, thanks for such a nice post!
Katie

Oh my, PLEASE do find out the name/source of that red wallpaper, STUNNING!!!
Beautiful! I love the mussel shells. And the blue dresses are gorgeous!
OMG!! What an amazing wedding!!
I love the unique twist to the something “blue” theme. The photos are absolutely stunning!!
Wow! I absolutely love the bridesmaid dresses and the reception shot is really lovely!
The wedding cake was made with love by Kate’s cousin Mary Beth. It was 4 tiers of lemon butter cake moistened with lemon simple syrup and layered with white chocolate mousseline buttercream. The cake is covered with fondant and embellished with royal icing, marzipan lemons and fresh flowers. In the photo the topper wasn’t on yet…it was a beautiful ball of blue hydrangea. Mary Beth makes cakes for family and friends and offers “fake cake” rentals to the public. Fakecakery.com
The most beautiful wedding I’ve seen in a long time! And PLEASE share with us if you find out about the wallpaper. I need that in my life.
As for the wallpaper, the decorator is Linda Carbut her business is located in Acton Ma it’s called Now and Then. Linda is brilliant! Signed, Katie’s Cousin
I love your bridesmaid dresses! Would you mind sharing who makes them? Absolutely beautiful wedding.
Lovely wedding down to every last detail. Is it possible to find out who made the ring bearer pillow? Also I’m in the midst of planning my own wedding and am curious to know the florist. Congratulations to this lovely couple!
Love the whole color theme. Green and blue is my favourite color combination and I have decorated my house using these colors. I will look at the floral shots for more inspiration! Lovely home as well, I can only imagine how beautifully decorated Kate’s house is. By the way i LOVE the blue leather band watch, can anyone ID it?
Thanks guys!:) Bridesmaids dresses are Vera Wang, ring bearer pillow was made by one of my cousins. The blue band watch is a cartier tank watch.
Im trying to find the Vera Wang bridesmaid dresses on vera wangs website but i dont see them. Do you have the style number?
