Something Sweet

Expensive cupcakes seem to be all the rage these days and finally Boston has jumped on the bandwagon with Sweet, an adorable little shop in Back Bay that recalls the darling ice cream parlors of yesteryear. Adorned in pink, brown and white wallpaper with a pink banquette to enjoy your treats, it’s an adorable little shop to visit. Not to mention the AMAZING packaging (I’m a sucker for that), little jar of birthday candles to grab from if need be – oh, and sinfully delicious little cupcakes! Worth a visit for sure…

Oh my lord those cupcakes are quite literally perfect! They look like they belong at a very expensive doll’s tea party.

very pretty — they look a lot like the cupcakes at the new “cupcake boutique” (Sugar Baby’s) near my house in Houston which has the absolute cutest decor ever:

Ooh, and if you place a party order, they’ll bring them out to your car for you so you don’t have to hassle parking! Love that.

But first I’ll definitely want to eat-in for the full experience. You know, just for a taste test.

This is about two blocks from my house (dangerous). I order from them all the time for parties, especially the mini cupcakes. They are as delicious as they look, truly!

Nothing is safe these days…I love the parlor style of the pink booths and the airy design and I am REALLY glad we don’t have anything like it close by..Leigh SC

Boston is our destination of choice, particularly for The Head of the Charles weekend. I frequent real estate listings there (Hammond) and was delighted to send this link to a friend who will be there for the weekend. Cheers!

My friend and I discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and it doesn’t dissapoint! When we walked in there was an Audrey Hepburn movie playing on their flat screen tv and it tasted like heaven.
