With the bitter cold blasting us here in the northeast, all I can think about are lazy days spent sunning on a tropical beach. Thank goodness my brother and his fiancee decided to get married in the Turks & Caicos in April and we are all going for a week thanks to my generous, awesome parents!
As I dream of sunny warm days spent on the beach and drool over the resort collections coming out, I put together a day to night look for a tropical getaway. Both looks are based on a great embroidered tunic by Tory Burch that takes it’s design pattern from the amazing embroidered Otomi throws featured in so many design magazines lately. Tunics like this are so versatile on trips- wear it as a mini dress cover up during the day and then add crisp white shorts or skinny capri pants and wedges for night!
I have an Otomi I bought in San Miguel de Allende where we were married – I love it, and have been so excited to see them being used more an more! I wish I’d bought more than one :(
